About me

I’m Dushica Nastova, born in N. Macedonia. I graduated with a degree in Drama Acting from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje in 2018. My professional career spans across film, theatre, music videos, commercials, and workshops. I gained recognition for my role in the award-winning short film Tina’s Problem (2020), and I starred in the internationally recognized feature films Mudbrick (2023) and Are You a Man? (2023), which is currently streaming on HBO. Alongside acting, I integrate video and sound design into my creative practice.

Since September 2024, I have focused on my research practice at HOME of Performance Practices, and I am currently based in the Netherlands. In 2024, I expanded my research at the PACT Zollverein residency in Germany, where I collaborated with Biljana Radinoska and Emilija Grzezcka. Together, we explored trauma processing through repetitive film scenes and dialogues. My work embraces fluidity and the ongoing process of becoming, challenging the conventional roles of performer and spectator.
